I sometimes need to send documents containing personal information, and I'm not comfortable uploading them to random websites. What should I look for in an online fax service that takes privacy seriously?

Security is the first thing I check with any document service. The HIPAA-compliance claim is what initially drew my attention to Municorn Fax App. I read about it at comfax.com/ , along with its mobile and browser features. I still verify the recipient and review privacy terms, because handling sensitive information requires more than simply choosing a convenient app.
